What is the Dynamic Roster Schedule?
The Dynamic Roster Schedule is used as a way to understand staffing needs at a
high-level, in an actionable manner.
See where Labor is:
needed
scheduled across events
scheduled across positions within the organization.
Then take action! You have the ability to schedule and shuffle crew members around as needed directly from this view. 🙌
How to Access the Dynamic Roster Schedule
Access the Dynamic Roster Schedule by navigating to Schedules > Dynamic Roster. *Users will need "Schedule+" permissions to access this view.
Using the Dynamic Roster Schedule
They Dynamic Roster Schedule is designed to provide you progressive levels of insight.
Start by seeing Capacity Metrics at a High Level
Your Labor Allocation (across all events) will display by Position Category. You can use this view to quickly see when you'll be busy or when you'll be lighter and able to take on more jobs.
If you do not see Position Categories listed, you can create these by going to "Administration" in the top right navigation then selecting "Company Settings" and navigating to the "Positions" tab. Click into each position then click "edit" to add the position category.
Drill Down into Event and Crew Insights
After understanding your high level capacity, click into a position category to see fulfillment at a more granular level. You can currently expand 3 levels to see capacity by:
Position
Event
Crew member
As you drill down into events, you'll see your crew members and open positions on the left with their shift status located on the right hand side of the Roster.
Icons and color coding will help you understand the position and shift status at a glance. This will help you quickly understand where your crew are at in the crewing process and if you have unfilled positions. Shift Statuses will provide visibility into time off, travel and dark days.
Take Action!
You will be able to crew directly from this page!
Click on a shift to take action, like adding crew.
Filter your position criteria and view profile cards as you normally would and then invite, add or approve on roster.
✏️ Want to "pencil people in"?
Simply add them to the roster without inviting or approving them.
You can also remove crew directly from the Dynamic Roster Schedule.

Hide or display assigned positions
Leverage crew, event, and schedule based filtering to narrow your Dynamic Roster by criteria like Crew Classification, Division, Event Type, Venue, Position Category.

Set a Date Range
View by Day or Hours
See Summarized Data like total needed, total unassigned, total unapproved
