Overview

This guide outlines how to effectively use filtering options in LASSO to customize views and find relevant event details. By leveraging various filter categories, users can streamline their workflow and access the information they need quickly.

Using Filters on the All Events Page

Applying Filters

  • Navigate to the All Events page.

  • Use the available categories such as event type, division, or project manager to filter event lists.

  • Filters are sticky, meaning your selections will remain in place for future sessions.

Example:
Filter by 'Project Manager' to view only events assigned to a specific manager.

Available Filter Options

  • Project Manager: View events managed by a specific person.

  • Division: Narrow down events based on operational divisions.

    • Please contact your LASSO Customer Success Manager or Support Team to add Divisions to your LASSO instance.

  • Account Manager: Filter by account manager for targeted event tracking.

Assign Crew Profiles

Steps to Assign Crew Profiles

  • Navigate to a crew member’s profile.

  • Assign crew designations such as project manager, account manager, or supervisor.

Understanding Filter Limitations

Non-Exclusionary Nature

  • Filters do not restrict access to other events.

  • Users with appropriate permissions will still have access to all data they are authorized to view.

Example:
A user cannot limit their view to only their events; they will still see other available data based on their permissions.

Permissions Impact Visibility

  • Access levels determine what data is visible.

  • Users can only see events they are tagged or assigned to based on permission settings.

By using LASSO’s filtering options effectively, you can personalize your experience to streamline how you get work done.
