The LASSO mobile app allows for Crew or Supervisor Clock In.
Crew Self Clock In (with and without geofencing)
This article will walk you through the various methods for time tracking using LASSO's native mobile app.
Important Note for Existing Customers:
As you download the new app, you'll use original Time Tracking functionality (accessible from the navigation button) until your account is reviewed and transitioned to the new App's capabilities listed in the article below. So you will not automatically see things like clocking in from the shift card and geofencing.
In order to transition to the new app, you will need to have a quick call with your Customer Success Manager to ensure migrating to the new app's capabilities is best for your team and then a review of your custom time scripting needs to be performed. After that, we will migrate your Time Keeping to the new app.
Keep in mind that your team may require specific time tracking functionality that is currently better supported by the TimeWorks app like:
geolocation (address or latitude/ longitude logs)
time card visibility
time off requests
approvals

Crew Clock In
If you allow crew to self clock-in using the LASSO mobile app, they will be able to do this directly from their app's dashboard on the shift card.
They will receive the clock-in prompts you have set for your company.
Once clocked in, the green Clock-in button will change to a red "clock out" button. When clocking out, the crew will have the option to:
clock out fully
clock out for a meal
clock out for a break
They can leave notes when clocking out which will push to TimeWorks.
Geofenced Enabled Clock In & Out
The new LASSO mobile app allows for geofenced enabled clock in and out. With LASSO's geofencing capabilities, you'll be able to set a desired radius around venues that you consider within range. As your crew clocks in, we will send over to TimeWorks whether your crew member was:
inside the geofencing zone when clocking in
outside the geofencing zone when clock in
or whether they denied or disabled the sharing of their location
Note: We do not restrict crew members from clocking in when they are outside of the range, since not all phones allow the sharing of locations. We simply collect whether or not they were within the geofencing zone and pass that information through to TimeWorks.
To enable Geofencing:
Go to "Administration" in the top navigation bar of LASSO then click "Company Settings." From there, turn on Geofencing and set the radius around the venue that you'd like to use.
Notify the LASSO team by emailing [email protected] so we can ensure geofencing data is displaying properly for you in TimeWorks.
Supervisor Clock In
If you have crew clock in turned off, and supervisor clock in turned on your crew will not see the clock in button on their shift cards.
As a supervisor, click "Event Home" on your shift card to access the event details.
Navigate to "Time" and click "Open Time Cards."
Click on the crew member you want to clock in or search for the crew member by name.
