LASSO Travel is an integrated travel management module that connects the crew management platform with LASSO's travel partner, AmTrav, to streamline arranging, tracking, and communicating crew member travel for both event-related and non-event purposes.
AmTrav allows you to manage your unused tickets, provide hotel pre-authorizations for your team, and access 24/7 concierge support.
Event Travel
For event-related travel, coordinators designate travel days during the scheduling phase and specify travel requirements at the crew member level—flights, hotels, rental cars, or combinations thereof. The platform includes a booking status tracking system visible through a Travel Summary in the Tasks menu, and validates that essential crew information is complete before allowing bookings.
The integrated booking process pre-populates traveler names, destinations, and departure airports from LASSO data, allowing bookers to set flight parameters, filter options by airline or time, and apply organizational travel policies automatically. Confirmed itineraries flow back into LASSO's travel itinerary page with comprehensive details including flight numbers, confirmation numbers, scheduled times, hotel information, and rental car arrangements.
Once travel is entered or booked, crew members receive notifications and can view their complete itineraries through the LASSO mobile app, with updates reflected immediately and centralized within each crew member's travel profile.
Non-Event Travel
Beyond event travel, the platform supports non-event travel booking through the Tasks menu for business or personal travel, using the same integration with LASSO's Travel Partner. The system also provides manual travel entry options for coordinators to add details individually or in bulk for multiple crew members simultaneously.
