The Crewing Spoke centralizes the process of filling event positions. Within this module, labor coordinators can view all crew opportunities for an event and access key information about potential crew members, including: position ratings, availability status, pay rates, total costs, and scheduling history.

Labor Coordinators can filter crew members using various parameters such as employee status, divisions, custom fields, tags, geographic location, and unexcused absence records. The Crew Conflict Legend provides a color-coded calendar view showing each person's commitments across all events, helping identify potential scheduling conflicts before assignments are made.

Travel Cost Estimation
When positions require non-local crew, the system can generate travel cost estimates that integrate into the total position cost calculations. LASSO also identifies potential overtime and double-time scenarios based on a crew member's existing schedule and the organization's pay period settings.

Crewing Your Event
Crewing operates through an invitation and application system. Coordinators send opportunity invitations to eligible crew members via the LASSO Mobile App, where crew can review the details and either apply or decline.

Once applications are received, coordinators can add crew members to the roster using one of three methods: "Add to Roster" creates an internal placeholder without notifying the crew member, "Approve & Confirm" assigns and notifies crew of their confirmed shift, or "Approve & Request Confirmation" assigns crew but requires them to confirm their availability through the app.

Status indicators throughout the interface show which positions are filled and confirmed, awaiting crew confirmation, or still unfilled, while individual crew members' roster status is tracked with checkmarks and color-coded bars.
