Managing your inventory is super easy with LASSO! Below we have outlined how to use your Asset Dashboard, add new gear, and view details for each product.
To get started, click on the Inventory tab at the top of LASSO and select Assets.
You have a bunch of options to help you make the most of your Asset Dashboard. To start, you can sort each column by simply clicking on the column header. You can also use the filter option in the top right to narrow down what appears in your dashboard and the search option in the top right to search for any item directly.
Additionally, you can use the "show columns" drop-down at the top right to customize your view of the Asset Dashboard!
To add a new piece of gear to your inventory, click on "+ Add New Product" in the top right of your Asset Dashboard.
To view any product in your dashboard, simply click on the name of the product to open up a detail view of it.
The detail view of each product includes a general overview, inventory tab, analytics, and related documents. One of the first things you will see here as a basic count that shows Total Warehouse Inventory and Serialized Inventory.
From the general overview, you will see a ton of important info including product specs and financial info. This is where you can list the specs needed for shipping estimates and where you can determine things like the rental rate for this item.
You will also see the option to include a sales description and to associate items.
The Inventory Tab of the Product Details view will include an inventory summary, the ability to add items, an individual inventory view, and transaction history for this product. You can dig deeper into the usage history of the product by viewing the Analytics tab!
Finally, you can use the Documents tab of the Product Detail View to upload and view relevant documents for each item in your inventory. To upload, simply click the blue arrow icon in the top right. This can be a great place to load product manuals!
Next, we are going to discuss how to manage your inventory using "Inventory Status". See you in the next article!
