Request Payments in LASSO

Learn how to request payments from your customers in LASSO.

With LASSO Payments, you can send payment requests, track finances, and get paid faster than before. This article outlines the payment request process!

There are currently two ways to request payments in LASSO: the Payments Dashboard & directly from an invoice.

To request payment directly from an invoice, simply open the Invoice History tab from the Invoice page on any event and choose "request payment" to the far right of that invoice.

After choosing "Request Payment", you'll be prompted to add a recipient, a due date, and any notes.

Once payments are requested, they can be tracked in your Payment Dashboard. You can also use the dashboard to request payments!

To access the Payments Dashboard, simply click "Dashboards" in the top right of LASSO, from the primary navigation bar, and then choose "Payments".

On the Payments Dashboard, you can track all outstanding payments, payment history, and any late payments. You will also see the option at the bottom of the page to "Request Payment". From here, you can associate that payment with a client, event, & invoice.

Finally, you will want to make sure you have your payment email template set up within your company inventory/quote settings. To do so, choose Administration from the primary navigation in LASSO, then "Company Inventory/Quote Settings" and finally "Email Templates". This template is the mechanism that embeds the physical payment link, so it's required to request payments!
