Navigating the Warehouse Operations page

This is a deep dive into the Warehouse Operations page of LASSO.

Updated over 2 years ago

The Warehouse Operations view is where your warehouse manager can look into the future and determine if they have everything they need to fulfill and satisfy orders.

See a clear timeline view of what you need to tackle as a warehouse manager.

Step 1

Click on "inventory" in the top main navigation bar and select "warehouse operations"

Step 2

Click the filter option (icon on the top left) to narrow down to a specific type of order. Color codes are described below:

  • Red: Show Shortages Only "I have not satisfied everything"

  • Blue: Show Items Resolved but Not Confirmed "I have everything in process"

  • Green: Show Confirmed Only "I'm good, all is confirmed"

Step 3

Customize your workspace & personal view so you only see what you need to see.

  • Click zoom in or zoom out to broaden or narrow the timeframe view depending on how far into the future you're preparing for.

  • Hover over the event to view the event dates, duration, and status of orders.

Step 4

Click on the order that you would like to work on to bring up the order summary.

Step 5

There are three actions you can take from the Order Summary to resolve an order: Sub-rent, substitute with another piece of gear, or take it from another order.

  1. Sub-rent from another renter

    1. Check off the items in bulk and click sub-rent to bring up the sub-rental modal.

    1. Create a PO #, select a vendor, and choose the other details (dates and shipping)

    2. This does not create a formal PO but it does create a PO in the LASSO system that showcases the fact that you need to get these from another vendor

  2. Substitute/replace with another piece of equipment

    1. Click actions (three dots)

    2. Find the item you want to substitute it with

  3. Take it from another event/order

    1. Click on "Take it from another order" to view all orders

    2. All orders will display that are using this piece of gear in that same time frame/window of 'prep start > return'

    3. You can make a decision based on revenue/pricing

    4. Choose which event you want to take the item from

Step 6

Now, click on "purchase orders" at top of page to view items that will need to be sub-rented. View which ones I've started, sent, and confirmed by status.

Warehouse operators, finance teams, accountants will want to see this view.

Click on the PO # to view and edit your Purchase Order (e.g., change pricing).
