Adding guest users to your LASSO project management platform is a straightforward process that allows you to collaborate with external team members or stakeholders. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started:
Navigate to the Event:
First, log into your LASSO account and go to the event where you want to add a guest user. This can be found within the project management section of the platform.
Access Task Details:
Once you are inside the event, locate any created task. Click on the "More Actions" button for that task. This button is typically represented by three dots or a similar icon.
Edit All Details:
From the "More Actions" menu, select "Edit All Details." This will open a new window or section where you can manage various aspects of the task.
Add Guest User:
In the "Edit All Details" section, find the "Add Guest User" button and click it. You will be prompted to enter the guest user’s first and last name, phone number, and email address.
Complete the Information:
Fill in the required fields with the guest user’s information. Ensure that the email address is correct, as this is how they will receive their login notification.
Add the Guest User:
After entering the guest user’s details, click the "Add" button. The guest user will receive an email notification with instructions on how to log into the LASSO platform.
Guest User Access:
When the guest user logs in, they will have limited access to the platform. They will only see the "Tasks" dropdown and the "My Project Tasks" dashboard. This is where they will perform their assigned tasks.
Assign Tasks and Grant Access:
You can assign tasks to guest users directly from the "My Project Tasks" dashboard. Additionally, guest users can be granted free access to read or edit assets within your Content Hub, depending on the permissions you set.

Question: How can I make a current User or Admin of my LASSO system a Guest User?
Since Users and Admins of your LASSO system already have a user record, they can be assigned the permission for Project Management, but cannot be made a Guest User.
