Date & Time Fields in Inventory

Learn how to use the date and time fields in Inventory when preparing, building, and shipping your orders.

Updated over 10 months ago

As you start to build your first events after activating LASSO Inventory, you'll notice a list of date/time fields on both your event build page and your order. These dates and times help give a chronological structure to your events that can be used to align your internal teams. To get started, there are five date/time fields that will be really important to building and shipping your first order:

  1. Prep Start

  2. Gear Leave

  3. Load In

  4. Pick Up

  5. Gear Return

We have outlined these five dates and times below. Finally, it's important to note that these specific date/time fields should be considered required as you and your team get started with LASSO Inventory.

Before we get started, a quick note, these dates/times are not shown to crew members.

Gear Inventory and Rentals

Gear Leave Date: Your gear leave date is the date/time when the gear will leave your warehouse for it's destination.

Gear Return Date: Your gear return date is the date/time when the gear will return to your warehouse from it's destination.

Optional Dates

Prep Start Date: Your prep start date/time informs your warehouse team when they should start to prep any orders associated with this event. Note, this is also important because it determines whether any items in this order will be considered quick turn arounds.

Load In Date: Your load in date/time is effectively when your gear will get to it's destination.

Pick Up Date: Your pick up date/time is when the gear will be loaded back onto the truck at the show and begin it's journey back to your warehouse.

These dates and times can also be edited from the Gear spoke, at the order level, by clicking the "i" information icon in the top right corner of your order.

Other Dates/Times to know:

Rehearsal Date: This is the date/time of the first rehearsal for your event.

Show Begin Date: This is the date/time that the show begins.
Show End Date: This is the date/time that the show ends.
Loud Out Date: This is the date/time where all strike will begin, prior to the gear being picked up to return to your warehouse.
