LASSO Signature is a powerful tool designed to streamline the process of managing and sending documents and forms to your crew. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you effectively manage your packets.
Important Terms:
A FORM is an individual document.
A PACKET is a grouping of forms. Packets can contain multiple forms.
Creating and Assigning Forms
All Signature forms are built by LASSO for you. Please send your documents and forms to your LASSO onboarding specialist, CSM, or to LASSO Support. Signature documents and forms cannot be added or uploaded by Admins or Users.
Once LASSO has added your Signature forms and documents, they can be organized to your liking.
Assigning Forms:
Your crew can e-sign their forms via the LASSO Mobile App. This ensures that everyone has access to the necessary documents.
LASSO assists by building out the forms you need to send to your team. You can have as many different forms as required.
If a form requires an attachment, we can set this up so that the attachment is mandatory for form completion.
Creating Packets
Building Packets:
Once your forms are created, you can group them into packets. Packets are collections of forms that allow you to send them out more quickly and efficiently.
For example, within a main onboarding packet, you might have three different forms. You can set the sequence in which you want these forms to be completed.
You can also specify if a counter signer is needed for the packet.
Managing Packets:
From your Signature settings, you can create a new packet by clicking the "New Packet" button.

Name your packet and provide a description (optional) to help you and your team identify its purpose.
Only one packet can be set as your main onboarding packet, which can be sent out with a single click.
Choose the forms you want to include in your packet and determine the sequence in which they should be completed.
If counter signers are necessary, you can select who they are during the packet creation process.
In order to be a counter signer, the User must have the correct Onboarding permissions.
Managing Forms
Adding New Forms:
Any new forms that need to be added can be requested from your LASSO representative. They will ensure the forms are added to your system.
Click "View Files" to view the raw document.
Inactivate old Form:
Click the "Forms" tab, and then click the name of the form.
Click the pencil icon to edit the form details, and set the form to inactive.
Monitoring Packet Status
To manage the forms and packets that have been sent to crew, head to the Tasks menu, then click "LASSO Signature".
Dashboard Overview:
To manage your forms, navigate to the "Tasks" section and select "LASSO Signature." This will take you to the dashboard page.
The dashboard provides a comprehensive view of the status of all your packets and their completion status.
You can see packets that are in progress, those that have been denied or declined by you as the administrator, and those that are waiting for crew action.
This feature makes it easy to keep track of the progress and follow up with your crew to ensure timely completion of the forms.
In the Signature Dashboard, click the down arrow
to expand the details of a specific crew member's progress. There will also be a progress status for their packet or form. Onboarding statuses are predefined and only updated by action in the system. These statuses cannot be manually updated. Statuses include:
Requested: The packet/form has been sent to crew, but not started.
Form Started: The Crew member has started to fill out the packet/form.
Crew Signed, uploading attachments: The packet/form has been signed by the crew member, but attachments still need to be uploaded.
Crew actions completed, ready to countersign: Crew have completed their portions of the packet/form, and it is ready for an Admin or User to countersign.
Ready for approval: The packet/form does not require counter signing, but is ready for approval.
Ready for Crew to sign: The packet/form has been filled out, but not signed (if a signature is required).
Canceled: The request to complete the packet/form has been canceled by an Admin or user.
Approved: The packet/form has been approved and onboarding is complete.
Click "View Files" to view the forms as they have been filled out by the crew member:
The icons to interact with the packet/form may differ slightly based on the status of the packet/form. This is normal.
If a packet/form has already been completed by crew, it can't be canceled, hence the change in options.
Packets/Forms can also be viewed from the Crew profiles.
By following these steps, you can efficiently manage your forms and packets in LASSO Signature, ensuring a smooth and organized onboarding process for your crew.
