Overview

This guide outlines how to manage and adjust pricing for both regular packages and priced packages within the LASSO platform. By understanding the options for rolling up prices based on package components or setting a flat rate, you can ensure accurate and flexible pricing for your quotes and invoices.

Adjusting Pricing for Regular Packages

  1. Navigate to the Event or Order:

    1. Open the event or order where you want to adjust the package pricing.

  2. Identify the Package:

    1. The price for packages is determined by the cost of the items within that package. Adding or removing items from the package will change the cost.

    2. Locate the package in your order. You will see a dollar sign with an upwards arrow icon, indicating that the price has been rolled up based on the package components.

  3. Change the Price:

    1. If you need to adjust the price, you can do so directly in the price column. For example, if the rolled-up price is $1,000 but you want to charge $1,500, simply enter "1,500" in the price field.

  4. Revert to Roll-Up Price:

    1. If you prefer to revert to the roll-up price, you can do so by selecting the option to return to the roll-up price.

      1. Click the three dots to the far right of the screen to open position actions to adjust this.

    2. This will recalculate the price based on the components of the package.

Adjusting Pricing for Priced Packages

  1. Navigate to the Event or Order:

    1. Open the event or order where you want to adjust the priced package.

  2. Identify the Priced Package:

    1. The price for Priced Packages is determined by you and does not automatically change based on the contents of the package.

    2. Locate the priced package in your order. This package has a predefined price that you have set.

  3. Change the Price:

    1. If you need to adjust the price, you can do so directly in the price field. For example, if the current price is $15 but you want to charge $1,500, simply enter "1,500" in the price field.

    2. You can also edit the package asset itself from your Assets list.

  4. Revert to Flat Rate:

    1. If you prefer to revert to the flat rate, you can do so by selecting the option to return to the flat rate.

      1. Click the three dots to the far right of the screen to open position actions to adjust this.

    2. This will use the predefined price you have set for the package.

Adding Associated Items to Packages

  1. Navigate to the Package:

    1. Open the package that you want to add associated items to.

  2. Add Components

    1. Components are ALWAYS included in a package and immediately added to an order when a package is added

  3. Add Associated Items:

    1. Ensure that the items you want to add are listed as associated items. For example, if you want to add one of each item, you can do so by selecting them as associated items.

    2. Associated items are suggested items that could be included in the package, but are not automatically added

  4. Update the Package:

    1. Once you add the components and associated items, save the asset.

      1. Remember that Price Packages and Packages calculate their price differently.
