LASSO's Quote module is a powerful tool that allows you to customize your quotes to meet the specific needs of your clients. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you build a quote.
Quote Blocks
Once you've set up the look of your quote with a template and theme, it's time to update the content of your quote. To get started, click Add Resources in your quote block.
The quote block will resize based on the content added to it automatically.
Now we can select exactly how the information on the quote will be presented.
For a resource type such as gear or labor to be included in the quote, that resource must be checked off.
Next, click the cog icon to open up configuration options for the resource type.

As you make updates, be sure to Apply Changes to view your quote in real time.

1. Configure the Gear Section
Rename the Section: You can rename the gear section to something more appropriate for your client, such as "Equipment" or "Items."
Select Orders: If you have multiple orders for the event, you can choose which orders to include in the quote.
Detail Level: Decide how much detail to show. You can choose to display the total price, order, group names, or individual items within each group. You can also show all child items within packages.
2. Configure Labor
Labor Number Options:
Bulk Labor Amount: Enter a single dollar amount for the total labor cost.
Express Labor Estimation: Enter a bulk number of hours in the Schedule Plus tab.
Scheduled Shifts: Use the scheduled shifts from the Schedule Plus tab to show the assumed labor costs.
Detail Level: Similar to the gear section, you can choose to show as much or as little information as you want, including shift start and end times.
3. Configure Trucking Logistics
Total Logistics Amount: Enter a total amount for logistics and provide a commentary on what the charge covers.
4. Configure Crew Travel
Bulk Travel Amount: Enter a total amount for travel and outline the costs.
5. Add Additional Charges
Check the Section: Ensure the "Additional Charges" section is checked to include it in your quote.
Add a Charge: Click the pencil button, select a charge type (e.g., admin fee), and enter the total amount.
Miscellaneous Charge Types can be added from your Company Inventory Settings
Expense Amount: Optionally, include the expense amount (this is not visible to the client).
Check the Charge: Make sure the additional charge is checked to appear on the quote.
6. Add Service Fees
Single Service Fee: Unlike additional charges, you can only add one service fee. This is typically a percentage of the total amount.
Check the Section: Ensure the "Service Fees" section is checked to include it in your quote.
7. Add Sales Tax
Tax Regions: Sales Tax is configured in your Company Inventory settings, and is based on the venue address.
Percentage or Manual Entry: You can either enter a percentage for sales tax manually input a dollar amount.

Reorder Items: You can reorder any of the items and objects on your quote to suit your preferences.
